For some reason, I was tired today, and this run kicked my butt.

Was set to do a tempo.

Warmed up at 8:05 pace 1 mile...should have run slower for a warmup but I had a hard time running slower..my mind was go go go.

Next, 6 miles at avg. 7:17pace..Goal was 7:15 so that was pretty good.

The second of 6 miles was a 6:20(mile). Serious downhill..was fun to run it..not hard at all.

Of course this was a loop so I paid for it on two hills later. One of the last miles was about an 8pace it was pretty brutal (hills and fatigue.)

Total time 6.96  miles 51:29/7:23pace

Stretched Legs 30min.

I am wondering... what are 'zeroed' shoes? Does this mean they have had some of the soles cut off?

And a good workout so soon after the race. Gravity is a pain sometimes

Chrisssssssss. Yes The village shoemaker cuts thru the sole, takes out some of the inside and glues it back together so you still have a nice traction bottom..The idea is to make the shoe flat basically. But more cushion than a racing flat I notice, so it will last longer. My racing flats aren't purely flat but close enough so I didn't want to pay $20 to mess with those.

Haha Vinh and Sam..I know...well I don't have a Garmin and my Polar watch's GPS thingy was being annoying so instead of fixing it I just don't use it..SO I run about what I figure is 7 miles..then map it out after..on mapmyrun.com.

My run yesterday was 8.21..that is a crazy # too..haha.

Scott!!! I know..I need to take some time to smell the roses..I have lots of things to take pictures of for you but just can't slow down enough to do it...I'm feeling slightly spazzy..haha.
